ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – Congresswoman Laura Gillen’s re-election campaign to represent New York’s Fourth Congressional District was endorsed by the Congressional Black Caucus PAC.

“CBCPAC stands with Congresswoman Laura Gillen because she has distinguished herself as a respected colleague and a steadfast advocate for working families. She has continued to fight to make life more affordable, improve community safety, and ensure Congress is investing in our communities — not slashing vital support. We are grateful for her strong voice and decisive action fighting to protect TPS for Haitian communities across the country,” said Congressman Gregory Meeks (NY-05), Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus PAC.

The endorsement follows resounding support for Gillen’s campaign from House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar, Representative Gregory Meeks and Nassau County Democratic Committee Chair and New York State Democratic Committee Chair Jay Jacobs. Gillen also received support from a broad coalition of labor unions, and endorsements from Hempstead Village leaders, including Mayor Waylyn Hobbs, Jr., Deputy Mayor Jeffery Daniels, Trustee Tanya Carter and Trustee William Whitaker.
