ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – Today, Congresswoman Laura Gillen released a new ad highlighting her bipartisan work in Congress to lower Long Islanders’ taxes and exposing Jeanine Driscoll’s support for the biggest tax hike in Town of Hempstead history while Tax Receiver.

Congresswoman Gillen is fighting to keep Long Islanders’ hard-earned money in their pockets. As one of the most bipartisan members of Congress, she’s working across the aisle to deliver lower costs and federal tax cuts while leading the fight to permanently restore the full State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction. 

Meanwhile, Jeanine Driscoll will always follow her party bosses’ direction and let Nassau County families pay more in taxes. Specifically, when Driscoll was Tax Receiver, she delivered a twelve-percent tax increase on Long Islanders – the largest in Town of Hempstead history.
