Rep. Laura Gillen Opens New Campaign Office in Elmont, Rallies Supporters in Final Month of Election

This office is the third opened by Congresswoman Gillen and the New York Democratic Coordinated Campaign for the 2026 cycle.

ELMONT, NY – On Friday, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) joined volunteers and candidates in Elmont, New York to open a new campaign office ahead of the 2026 election. Gillen was joined by Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages, Legislator Cynthia Nunez and candidates for the Town of Hempstead Supervisor and Clerk, Joe Scianablo and Dr. Joylette Williams, to launch a community canvass and speak with voters.

“We are so thankful for the volunteers and community members who came out to launch another canvass with us this evening,” said Rep. Gillen. “These supporters – parents, healthcare workers, business owners and students – are ready to make a change and they know it all starts with voting!”

“It was great to see the energy and excitement that everybody has for electing our candidates up and down the ballot,” said Asw. Solages. “We have real momentum in this election, and we will prove that when we work together we win together.”

Laura Gillen is running for re-election in New York’s Fourth Congressional District because she’s willing to work with anyone to get things done for Long Island. One of the most competitive congressional seats in the country, Rep. Gillen flipped this district in 2024 by 2.4%.
